Location:
This ranch is located 14 miles east of the Arizona State Line (about 25 miles east of the town of Springerville, Arizona) and approximately 18 miles West of Quemado, New Mexico.
It is in Catron County and about 3 miles North of State Road 60.

Carrying Capacity:
The ranch is administrated by the BLM, which has established the carrying capacity at 90 head of grown cattle yearlong and is known as the Eager Red Hill Allotment.
Terrain and tree cover:
The property varies in elevation from 6815' to 7516'. It has some rugged, volcanic type terrain with scattered pinon, juniper, and cedar trees. There are several canyons, ledges, and rugged cliffs with some open rolling grazing land.
As the photos depict the Agua Fria Creek can fill up with water creating a nice reservoir. This only happens during the rain season (usually July through September.) When there is adequate precipitation.

The outbuildings include a 12'X12' generator room, where batteries are stored for electricity, a Van-Trailer, a portable 8'X10' Tac room, and a set of corrals constructed of pipe posts and portable panels.

During normal years, 8`'to 12"of precipitation including some snowfall can be expected.
Grazing Fees and Property Taxes:
The real property taxes are approximately $300 per year.
The grazing fees are $1.41 per animal unit month, or approximately $1400 per year payable to the BLM.
The state grazing fees are approximately $80 per year.

The ranch is located in Hunting Unit 12. For the 2004-2005 hunting season the New Mexico department of Game and Fish issued 7 landowners permits for Elk
